An abiding theme of my photography is loneliness, isolation and alienation in our metropolises, especially my home city, London.
Either by circumstance or choice, there are individuals who are apart from the everyday goings-on of the masses; for whatever reason they are with us but separate from us.
Most humans have a parallel need to seek out relationships and interact with others while being comfortable with their aloneness. It is a lifelong balancing act, but for some a balancing act that is impossible to maintain.
Other than this, the photographs are a record of what catches my eye on my ramblings throughout the year.
